The 5th Conference of the Working Group on Aquatic Birds of the International Society of Limnology (SIL) "Limnology and Waterbirds 2006" will be held in Eger, Hungary, August 26-30, 2006.

The Proceedings of the Conference will be published in Acta Zoologica a refereed journal as well as a separate volume [similar to that of an earlier symposium: Proceedings "Aquatic Birds in the Trophic Web of Lakes" (Developments in Hydrobiology 1994, vol. 96, 524p.or Hydrobiologia, 1994, vol. 279/280)].
